"A crooked crown is still a crown, right?"

I was not emotionally prepared for this book. Like, AT. ALL!
It's flawlessly written, intense and angsty as fuck. I'm pretty certain I've got high blood pressure after reading it. From 4% I was a wreck. I didn't breathe until the very last line. 

After finishing book two I had so many questions, I also had multiple worries of where this story would go. O' YE OF LITTLE FAITH!! Raven and Maddoc's ending was the perfect one for them. Every single thing that happened in this book, needed to happen. Meagan gave me everything I could have wanted from Reign Of Brayshaw.

It was raw, gritty and completely exhilarating. 

"Kings have been named, Kingdoms set.
But it all comes down to the power of the Queen, doesn't it?"

This story was never just about Raven and Maddoc. It was them and all those close to them. Friends, family and enemies. It's past, preset and future.

It was a perfectly executed love story full of highs and lows. Love and Heartbreak. Fuck, all the heartbreak! I. WAS. NOT. READY.

"My loving Maddoc wasn't by mistake.

It was inevitable.

We were inevitable."

It's truly bittersweet to watch these characters grow throughout this series. Both as individuals and a family. Seeing them slowly gain trust and confidence with each other was brilliant. To see Raven become the queen that she is was fucking beautiful!!

"She wants to push. We'll be the driving force behind her.

She wants to lead. Where she goes, we'll follow.

She wants her reign. We'll make sure she gets it.

My heart honestly didn't slow down for a single moment whilst reading this book. It's a story that will keep you consumed until the very end.

It's one of the best conclusions to a series I've ever read.

I wasn't emotionally prepared for the rollercoaster this book has taken me on.

Do not go into this book with expecatations or if's and buts. You may think you know what you want when it comes to this story. You do not! You have no fucking clue!!

Go in believing this book will give you everything you didn't know you wanted. It will blow your expectations to complete shit.

Meagan Brandy is a league of her own. This is a series that will stand out and shine so fucking bright amongst books of the same genre. I am completely confident when I say I won't find another book like this one. I'll only disappoint myself if I try.
