Brittainy Cherry has been in love with words since the day she took her first breath. She graduated from Carroll University with a Bachelors Degree in Theatre Arts and a minor in Creative Writing. MY REVIEW; The air he breathes was the first book of Brittainy Cherrys I read. I read it, adored it and as soon as I saw there was a second book in the elements series I just knew I was going to love that one too. There is no doubt about it, This author writes beautiful stories. Stories that will make you feel and fall so in love you wonder if you'll ever truly get over it. From the two books of hers I've read I can honestly say she is a new favourite author of mine. When starting The fire between high and lo I had high expectations and the only time I was disappointed was when it had to end. Logan Francis silverstone doesn't have an easy life, his parents are addicts and to be honest his dad is a complete areshole. Thank god he has his older brother Kellan to lean on. Alyssa Marie Walters came into his life and the right time, Lo and Alyssa became best friends. She loves him unconditionally and he loves her. "She believed in God, whilst I danced with Demons" Soon everything changes...Lo falls in love with Alyssa and she's so completely in love with him. Things are always great but they have each other and with that they can conquer anything right? "You're okay Logan Francis Silverstone. I'm okay Alicia Marie Walters" Until everything changed I won't say to much I don't want to spoil it but broken hearts, harsh words and 5 years of nothing. The story is at some points totally heart breaking. High & Lo have their share of bad times but equally the amount of good. I absolutely adore this couple, one of my favourites I've read about this year. I was gutted when the book ended but their relationship healed and so did my heart. Alyssa was there from beginning to end for Lo, no judgement just love. "If you judge him solely on his moments of lows, then you miss out on bus beautiful highs" I was in awe of the love Alyssa has for Lo, she really is his high. His one joy in life that he gets to keep and cherish. Through the good and bad you can feel he love between them. She's there for him and when needed he's there for her. "For always high? For always Lo" I'll definitely be reading the rest of Cherrys books and I recommend you do too!! Her stories are beautifully written, a true love stories that has your heart beating so fast that you sure you can feel everything her characters are. A 5* read for me and definitely one of my favourite this year
