LOVED LOVED LOVED.
MC is one of my favourite Genre's to read and let me tell you i was not disappointed with this. This is the first book i've read by Piper Davenport and i adored her writing, i'll definitely be going back and reading the rest of this series. Maisie has been a widowed/single mother of her 12 year old daughter poppy for ten years. CEO of her own business and always putting her daughter first she has a busy life. Until an unexpected break down brings her into the path of Connor 'Hatch' Wallace.Hatch is SGT at Arms of the Dogs Fire MC. He hasn't had much luck in life, with losing his parents so having to raise his siblings and a crappy marriage, Hatch didn't really believe in happy realtionships anymore. Only getting what he needed from women in bed and then kicking them out again, he wasn't looking for a relationship. Until a Maisie came into the garage he just so happened to be making a delivery too. True to say her breakdown was the best thing to happen. This book has alot of twists and turns, i did not expect anything in this book. It blew me away, after a series of events happen Hatch swears to protect Maisie and Poppy. They fit together so easily and although scared they fall into an easy relationship. I was captivated with this book from the very beginning and then when everything started happening i was hooked, i couldn't put it down until i had answers. I laughed, got sad and literally shouted 'What the fuck' a few times. I was legit on the edge of my seat. I loved absolutely everything about this book, Hatch was a sweetheart. It was so refreshing to get an MC member that isn't a complete arsehole hah. Easy enough to say Piper Davenport is a new favourite of mine and i'm going back to read the rest of this series.
